Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use DementiaBuddy
  • Caretakers must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

User Responsibilities

Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

  • Use DementiaBuddy only for its intended purpose of care management
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about tasks and care needs
  • Respect the privacy and dignity of all users
  • Do not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Care Responsibilities

  • Caretakers must ensure tasks are appropriate and safe for patients
  • Patients should follow their care plans as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Emergency situations should be handled through appropriate emergency services
  • DementiaBuddy is a care coordination tool, not a replacement for professional medical care

Service Availability

  • We strive to provide 24/7 service availability
  • Scheduled maintenance may temporarily interrupt service
  • We will provide notice of planned maintenance when possible
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice

Service Modifications

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service
  • We may add new features or remove existing features with notice
  • Significant changes will be communicated to users in advance
  • Your continued use constitutes acceptance of service modifications
